Canadian Drilling Rig Museum
The Canadian Drilling Rig Museum, located in the rural community 
of Rainham Centre, is a monument to the rich history of the early natural gas fields of Haldimand, Norfolk and Southern Ontario. The site houses the rebuilt, “working” 1896 drilling rig along with many interesting artifacts and a wealth of historical information.

Annual Open House – Sept. 16 & 17, 2006 (3rd Weekend in September)
10 a.m.–5 p.m.
Operating Drilling Rig; Historic displays & demonstrations; Crafts, and Musical tunes; Great rig beans and beef on a bun.
Hours of Operation:
July - August: Sunday 12:30 p.m.–4 p.m.
