Cottonwood Mansion

Cottonwood is a restored Italianate red brick mansion built circa 1870 as a private residence by William Holmes, Jr. The 6,000 square foot, fifteen room Mansion was vacant for 80 years. Restored to its original splendor, it is now a living museum, open for tours, and available by reservation for a variety of private events.

It also provides a number of Victorian experiences throughout the year culminating in an annual Victorian Grand Ball. Cottonwood is also a genealogy research centre which concentrates on the pioneer families of Haldimand and the Niagara Peninsula.

Located 4 km north of Selkirk on Haldimand Road 53, 4.5 km south of Highway #3. Please use front door.

• Open for events and by appointment. Bus tours are welcome.
